Sone Se Pehle Ki Dua
Prayer Before Sleeping
"Ae Allah! Tera naam lekar main marta hoon aur jeeta hoon (yani sota hoon aur jagta hoon)."
Hazrat Hudhaifa (R.A) se riwayat hai ki Nabi Kareem (ﷺ) jab apne bistar par jate, to ye dua padhte.

Neend aur Maut
Islam mein neend ko 'Maut-e-Sughra' (Choti Maut) kaha gaya hai. Jab hum sote hain, humari rooh Allah ke paas hoti hai, isliye hum uska naam lekar sote hain.
Allah ki Hifazat
Raat ko sote waqt insaan sabse zyada be-khabar hota hai. Is dua ke zariye hum apni jaan aur maal ki hifazat Allah ke hawale kar dete hain.
Sukoon aur Barkat
Jo shakhs Allah ka naam lekar sota hai, farishte raat bhar uski hifazat karte hain aur uski neend mein sukoon rehta hai.
Dua before sleeping

It is narrated from Hazrat Hudhaifa (RA) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to recite this dua when he went to his bed.

Sleep and Death
In Islam, sleep is called 'Maut-e-Sughra' (short death). When we sleep, our soul is with Allah, so we sleep in His name.
Allah's Protection
Man is most unaware when sleeping at night. Through this prayer, we entrust the protection of our lives and property to Allah.
Peace and Barakat
Anyone who sleeps with the name of Allah, angels protect him throughout the night, and his sleep is peaceful.
